On April 15, from 5:30 - 7 pm, as local citizens and tax accountants prepare to retire from another battle to interpret and comply with state and federal revenue requirements, a "reception in support of Governor Maura Healey" will be getting underway in Franklin, with attendee donations pegged from $125 per person to $1,000.

Hosts listed for the event invite include State Rep. Jeff Roy, Scott and Audrey Nathan, Mark and Sally Berthiaume, Town Councilors Ted Cormier-Leger and Robert Dellorco, Sen. Becca Rausch and  State Reps Jim Hawkins, Brian Murray, and Adam Scanlan.

Organizers did not publish the venue but promised those who contributed they would be informed, though the  limited function facilities available in Franklin would seem to limit the possibilities to either 3 Restaurant or the Franklin Country Club.

The Healey Driscoll campaign appears to be both confident and well funded going into election season. Late last month, the campaign announced their first quarter fundraising haul, totaling $2,308,789 combined across the two committees and the coordinated campaign. The Healey Committee raised $1,215,847, the Driscoll Committee raised $437,942, and the Healey-Driscoll ticket helped the Massachusetts Democratic Party raise a further $655,000 since the start of 2026.

In March alone, Team Healey-Driscoll raised $1,131,906. The Healey Committee raised $534,787, the Driscoll Committee raised $193,144.50, and the Healey-Driscoll ticket helped the Massachusetts Democratic Party raise $403,975.

Of the amount raised by the Healey Committee, 74% came from small-dollar donors, according to the campaign, with an average of $28 across grassroots donations.

According to OCPF filings, Healey has $5.3 million "cash on hand" to fund her campaign.
