Medway 10-year-old Medflighted to Worcester

According to a Facebook post by the Medway Fire Department, early Sunday afternoon, first responders were dispatched  for a 10 year old patient who unfortunately experienced a severe fall. Medflight was called for transport to UMass Worcester for definitive treatment.  Holliston Fire and Milford Fire provided mutual aid assistance.

According to other published reports, the incident happened at a home on Williamsburg Way. The boy, who was not visible to others present, apparently fell and struck his head and was unconscious when discovered by an adult, who heard a noise.

The boy later regained conscious when entering the helicopter. The child's current condition is not known.

The child is expected to recover. The exact circumstances of the fall are not known.
