“New” West Central Plaza Sold Again

A project originally owned by two local men, Roger Calarese and Joseph Vendetti, has been sold yet again, according to a report in Boston Real Estate News.

Permitted around 2017, the 10,000 square foot retail plaza replaced two smaller structures and opened in 2019 at 471-479 West Central St. The building quickly filled with tenants including Gentle Dental, Jersey Mike’s, Sports Clips, Franklin Physical Therapy and Divine Nails.

Calarese and Vendetti, doing business as West Central Plaza LLC, reportedly sold the property to three limited liability corporations in Needham, effective Jan. 6, 2020. [Another published source says the buyer was in Newton]

Now, Keypoint Partners, based in Burlington, has sold the site again in a “retail investment sales transaction” along with two properties in other towns, for a total price of some $10 million. As of this writing, Jonathan Aron, Vice President of Investment Sales for the firm, has not yet responded to an email request for the identity of the buyer.
