MEDWAY: Harold Bott

Harold Bott, of Medway, formerly of Framingham, MA, entered into rest on June 29, 2026, at the age of 85. He was the beloved husband of Barbara (Miller) Bott, with whom he shared 62 wonderful years of marriage. Born in Cambridge, MA, he was the son of the late Max and Dorothy (Nation) Bott.

A dedicated family man, Harold was the devoted father of Karen Danek and her husband, Chris, of Upton, MA, and Lisa Gorgas and her husband, David, of Franklin, MA. He was the cherished grandfather of Jay and Noah Gorgas.

Harold had many interests throughout his life. As a lifelong weather enthusiast, he found great joy in meteorology, meticulously checking his vintage weather instruments every day. He used this passion to look out for those he loved. As his children grew older, he never stopped looking out for them, making sure to warn them about the inclement weather and to be careful. Harold was also a devoted fan of the Boston Pops Fourth of July concert, a tradition that always brought him great musical enjoyment during family holiday celebrations.

Above all, Harold cherished spending quality time with his family. Whether going out to dinners hosting family barbecues, or simply being together, these moments brought him his greatest joy. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

A private family service will be held to honor Harold's life.
