Cassie-Leigh Metivier, 43, of Franklin, passed away on July 2, 2026,
at Milford Regional Hospital. She was born on June 16, 1983, in
Worcester, and throughout her life she was known as a spirited woman
whose presence brought energy, warmth, and joy to those around her.
Cassie-Leigh
lived her life with a vibrant heart and loved to dance, and music was
often a source of happiness and expression for her. In her younger
years, she especially enjoyed time on Cape Cod, where Scusset Beach held
a special place in her heart. She loved collecting shells there,
creating memories that remained dear to her throughout her life.
She
is survived by her son, Anthony Kelley of Uxbridge; her daughters,
Alexia Kelley of Mendon and Giavanna Zannino of Franklin; and her son,
Robert Zannino of Franklin. She also leaves her mother, Nancy Russo and
her husband Adrian of Milford. She was predeceased by her father, Robie
Robinson. Cassie-Leigh is also survived by her siblings, Andrea Alix of
Tampa, Florida; Nicholas Russo of Astoria, New York; Joseph Russo of
Tewksbury; and Victoria Russo of Pomfret, Connecticut. She is further
survived by three step-sisters, Sarah Hickory, Jen Hickory, and Jill
Hickory and her granddaughters, Caterina Gilmore, Madison Gilmore, Mia
Gilmore and Alaya Pickering. She was predeceased by her son-in-law,
Patrick Gilmore. Her comfort dog, Cameron, was a beloved companion and
source of affection in her life.
Those who knew Cassie-Leigh will remember her for her spirited nature and the way she embraced life.
Visiting hours will be Monday, July 20, 2026 from 5 – 7 PM in the Buma-Sargeant Funeral Home, 42 Congress Street, Milford.
Burial will be private.
