Perfect Weather Brings Back Crowds to 2021 Harvest Festival

From politics to personal care, sports to Christmas ornaments, the 2021 Franklin Downtown Partnership Harvest Festival was a feast.

From well before the start of its official “opening hour” of noon on Saturday, Oct. 2, a steady and, at times, packed crowd filled Main Street from East Central to Emmons Street. Depot Street and Dean Ave, as well as the parking areas (mostly Rockland Trust property) between Main and West Central, were full of crowds, music, and food.

Organizer Scott Martin and FDP’s Lisa Piana, looked well-satisfied with their labors by days end.

And participants looked energized and pleased as they took down booths and loaded gear into vehicles after 5 pm. Covid willing, the Franklin tradition looks to be set to come back again in 2022.
