This post expresses the views and opinions of the author(s) and not necessarily that of Franklin Observer management or staff.

Marcella “Marcy” (Barry) Will, beloved wife of the late John C. Will, passed away peacefully with family by her side at the age of 91 on November 27, 2025, Thanksgiving Day.

A proud matriarch and former owner of Marcy’s Restaurant in Millis, Massachusetts, Marcy was known for her warmth, independence, and love of people. She and her husband John moved to Medway in 1960, where they raised their family and became active members of the community. Later in life, they relocated to Lincoln, New Hampshire.

After the loss of her husband to cancer in 1999, Marcy continued to embrace life with determination and grace. She remained independent and pursued her passion for the restaurant industry, working seasonally at Loon Mountain and aboard the Café Lafayette Dinner Train, where she especially enjoyed interacting with the many people she met.

Marcy is survived by her sister, Ann (Barry) Smith of Matthews, North Carolina, and her four children: Joan (Charles) Hallett of Medway; Carol (Jock) Clark of Naples, Florida; Jack (Jennifer) Will Jr. of Franklin; and Marcia (Dr. Michael) Jedrynski of Dudley. She also leaves, with great love, her nine grandchildren—Emily (Chris) Dymond, Roy (Brooke) Clark, Melissa (Daniel) Zuvia, Connor Will, Dennis Will, Thomas Jedrynski, Amy Jedrynski, Sara Jedrynski, and Kevin Jedrynski and her great-grandchildren: Tally Dymond, Jasper Dymond, Thane Clark, Baby Zuvia

Marcy made many dear friends in both Medway and New Hampshire, friendships that she treasured deeply throughout her life.
