Friends of Medway Public Library to host “Par-Tee at the Library” to raise funds for library programs

MEDWAY, MA – The Friends of the Medway Public Library invite the community to grab a putter and play a round of mini golf inside the Medway Public Library during a special two-day fundraiser on Friday, March 6, 2026, and Saturday, March 7, 2026.

This two-day event will transform the library into a whimsical 18-hole mini golf course, winding through stacks, reading rooms, and familiar library spaces for a fun experience you won’t want to miss. Money raised will support library programs, materials, and community initiatives.

Friday Night: 21+ Mini Golf Social
On Friday, March 6, from 6-9 p.m., adults 21 and over are invited to kick off the weekend with a lively evening of mini golf, socializing, and refreshments. Tickets are $50 per person and include light fare, appetizers, desserts, and beverages, including beer and wine. Tickets are limited to 100 people, making this a relaxed and festive night out in a truly unique setting.

Saturday: Community Mini Golf Day
On Saturday, March 7, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., (the last tee is 3pm) the library opens the course to the entire community for a family-friendly day of play. Admission is $5 per person at the door and will be capped at $20 per family. The price includes mini golf along with crafts and face painting for children. Snacks are available at nominal cost.

This daytime event is designed for all ages and offers a fun, affordable way for families to support their library.

“All proceeds from the event directly benefit the Medway Public Library,” according to Karyl Wong, president of Friends of the Medway Public Library. “This is a fun way to bring people together, celebrate the library, and raise funds that help us give back to the community.”
