LEGAL NOTICE Invitation for Bids (IFB) TOWN OF FRANKLIN In accordance with MGL c. 30, §39m, it is the intention of the Town of Franklin to retain the services of a contractor for the purposes of street sweeping services at various locations, all located within the Town of Franklin. Project: The Contractor shall provide mechanical sweepers with experienced operators to perform street sweeping services (and associated debris collection) for specified roadways for the Town of Franklin, Massachusetts. The Town will provide route maps, access to water for the purpose of dust control, and a dump truck with an operator to collect the material from the Contractor sweepers. BIDS/CATCH BASIN DEBRIS LEGAL NOTICE Invitation for Bids (IFB) TOWN OF FRANKLIN In accordance with MGL c. 30 section 39m, it is the intention of the Town of Franklin to retain the services of a contractor to haul catch basin debris from the Town of Franklin stockyard and dispose of this debris in compliance with Mass DEP rules and regulations. Project: The work shall include removing all deposited material from the stockpile at the Town of Franklin DPW yard adjacent to 257 Fisher Street, Franklin, MA. The successful bidder is expected to dispose of catch basin material as directed by the Environmental Affairs Superintendent or his designee. The material shall be handled in accordance with Massachusetts Catch Basin Material hauling and disposal regulations. Bidders are encouraged to contact the Mass DEP for rules and regulations regarding catch basin cleanings that may affect the bid dollar amounts and the proper disposal of these materials. This bid opportunity is for the furnishing of all equipment, labor and materials necessary to haul and dispose of the stockpiled material at a licensed disposal site or other permitted processing facility. The Town will supply the machines and labor to load the disposal vehicles. Work is to begin after January 1, 2024 and be completed prior April 15, 2024. Work under this Contract shall be paid for at the contract unit bid prices, which shall constitute full compensation for all material, labor, equipment, etc., required to satisfactorily complete the work.
