Sunday, Feb 2 at 2pm at the BLACK BOX, 15 West Central St. Franklin.
Directed by Tim Ayres-Kerr
Performed by the Dean Vocal Ensemble!
Your favorite Disney hits paired with choruses and folk songs of the real (and unreal) cultures they come from. This includes a spinning song originally published in Lowell MA in 1841, the oldest Secular song ever written (sung by a real Viking reenactor who will be joining us), and Sea Shanties galore! Our 7 dwarves might even sing your favorite Tolkien poetry—Not to mention the vocal highlights of Ariel, Aurora, Snow-White, and of course Elsa. This program truly has something for all ages!
This program is funded by a grant from the Franklin Cultural Council, a local agency which is supported by the Mass Cultural Council, a state agency.
The Dean College Vocal Ensemble is a group of singers at Dean College in Franklin, Massachusetts. The ensemble performs a variety of music, including songs, scenes, and Shakespeare.
