Fakes & Forgeries to Get Place of Honor at Franklin Museum

In a first big collaboration, the Franklin Historical Museum at 80 West Central Street and the Franklin Art Association, are teaming up to deliver a fun and entertaining cultural event that will kick off in June, during Porchfest, June 7, 2025. 

Sue Sheridan with the Franklin Art Association and the Chair of the Historical Commission began discussing a possible collaboration in mid-2024 and then Sheridan hatched the idea of Fakes & Forgeries, which not only provides wide creative opportunities for local artists, it also offers a fresh way to connect to historical artwork from America and around the world.
