All are welcome at the Franklin Historical Museum on Sunday, Mar. 2 from 1-4 for a celebration of the town's 248th birthday, marking the day that the Massachusetts legislature approved plans for the North Parish of Wrentham to become the new town of Franklin.
Admission is free but donations are always encouraged.
In addition to cake and refreshments, there will be a showing of the "home movie" of Franklin's 200th celebration in 1978! See if you can spot the changed landmarks and maybe even some familiar faces!
Patchy rain nearby, with a high of 56 and low of 32 degrees. Don't forget your umbrella! Sunny for the morning, overcast during the afternoon and evening, clear overnight.
