Franklin Fills Communication Post

Liz Kalaijian has been hired by the Town of Franklin as the new Director of Communications and Community Engagement. A similar but more limited role was funded and shared between the town and school department a few years ago.

Kalaijian has public-sector and media experience, with expertise in strategic communications, community outreach, and engagement. She most recently served as a Project Manager at Capital Strategic Solutions (CSS) in Hudson, where she worked with the Towns of Westford and Brookline to strengthen staff capacity and enhance municipal communications. Prior to her role at CSS, she worked as a Public Relations Associate at John Guilfoil Public Relations in Canton. Kalaijian began her career in television media as an Assignment Editor at WBZ in Boston and Boston 25 in Dedham.
