Rep. Roy May Have Competition in November

Long-time Democrat State Rep. Jeff Roy may have a competitor in November.  A flyer shared with his potential supporters names a Franklin businessman, living in Franklin for about five years, as a stated Republican contender.

We have so far been unsuccessful in reaching the individual via email or phone to confirm his candidacy but his biography states that he has a business in the weatherization field and is a veteran of the National Guard.

Roy, an attorney and former member of both the Franklin School Committee and the Franklin Town Council has represented Franklin and most of Medway since 2012.
