Charles “Charlie” Tempinski, of Marstons Mills, formerly of Franklin, MA and Pawtucket, RI, passed away on March 15, 2026 at McCarthy Care Center in Sandwich. Charles was born in Pawtucket, RI, son of the late Walter and Helen (Zielinski) Tempinski on March 24, 1951.
He graduated in 1969 from Tolman High School where he played football and ran track. He graduated from Northeastern University in 1974 with a degree in Industrial Engineering and from Providence College in 1980 with an MBA in Management. His work experience included the Memorial Hospital in Pawtucket, Beth Israel Hospital, FW Faxon, Fleet Bank, Bank Boston, Modus Media International, McDonald Douglas Automation Company, and Northeastern University.
Charlie loved cars, especially Volvos, fishing, and chocolate Labrador Retrievers. He enjoyed his Pedaling for Parkinsons classes at the Y and Rock Steady Boxing and the Parkinsons community. He especially loved his children and grandchildren.
Charlie is survived by his wife Kristine (Roeber) Tempinski of Marstons Mills, his daughters Katherine “Katie” Tempinski and her partner John McAllen of Kilummin, Ireland, and Johanna Adams and her husband Michael of San Francisco, CA, and his two precious granddaughters, Grace McAllen and Audra Adams.
Visitation will be on Tuesday March 24, 2026 from 4-7 PM in the Chapman Funeral & Cremations, John- Lawrence Chapel, 3778 Falmouth Road, Marstons Mills, MA. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Wednesday at 11 AM in Our Lady of Victory Church, 230 S. Main Street Centerville. Burial will be private in St Mary’s Cemetery in Pawtucket, RI.
