Linda Ann (Finlay) Monteiro, 61, of Woonsocket, formerly of Franklin died March 16 at the Friendly Home in Woonsocket following a long illness.
Born in Framingham, June 22,1964, the daughter of the late George and Dianne (Cook) Finlay, Linda was raised in Franklin and had lived in Woonsocket for several years.
Linda was a graduate of Franklin High School and worked as a school bus driver and also as a clerk at a dry-cleaning company.
Linda's children find comfort in knowing their mother had expressed and shown her love for them in many ways. She was a generous person who loved to cook for special occasions and shop on Amazon to buy things for the ones she loved. She had a pet cat named Petey who she adored. She will be greatly missed by all, including her 100-year-old roommate Gertrude at the friendly home where she lived. Linda was always a kind and understanding soul despite her many health challenges.
She is survived by her children, Timothy Bertulli and his wife Nicole of Brooksville, Florida and Dianne Coronite and her husband Matt of Beverly, MA.
She is also survived by her siblings, Joann Frink and her husband Wally of Bellingham, Nancy Finlay of North Walpole, New Hampshire, George Finlay and his wife Ally of North Conway, New Hampshire, Steven Finlay of Bellingham and David Finlay and his wife Beth of Franklin.
Linda is also survived by her grandsons, Johnathan and Jacob Bertulli as well as many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and one great great niece.
Linda’s services will be private.
