Therese Elizabeth (Rousseau) Crowley, 97, of Franklin, wife of the late Charles A. Crowley, former owner of the Crowley Funeral Home in Medway, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 18, at her home.
Born in Framingham, October 13, 1928, the daughter of the late Albert J. and Elizabeth (Morey) Rousseau, Therese was a graduate of Framingham High School and Framingham Union Hospital School of Nursing. She was a Registered Nurse. She worked at both Framingham Union and Pondville Hospitals.
She was also a Red Cross Nurse, directing Blood Banks at St. Joseph’s Church in Medway.
Therese is survived by her children, Elizabeth T. Fleming and her husband, Thomas, of Wellesley; John J. Crowley and his wife, Roberta, of Norfolk; Katherine M. Parker and her husband, Shane, of Maumelle, Arkansas; and Charles A. Crowley and his wife, Dorothy, of Rockville Centre, New York.
She is also survived by her sister Jeanne Taylor of Hopkinton.
Therese is also survived by her grandchildren, Michael, Katelyn, Matthew, and Bridget Fleming; John, Daniel, and Thomas Crowley; Mae, Andrea, and Max Crowley; and her stepchildren, Brittany Parker and Lindsay Kischko.
She is also survived by her great-granddaughter, Jane Crowley, and step-great-grandchildren, Rylan, Maci, Sophie, Gray, Addison, and Ella.
Therese was the sister of the late Eugene, Albert, John, and Frederick Rousseau, and Louise Flannery, Wilhelmina Donlan, Elizabeth Kadra, Phyllis Chenard, Edna Carr, Katherine Svendsen, Rita Wight, and Pauline LaForce.
She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Her funeral mass will be celebrated on Monday, March 23, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Joseph’s Church in Medway.
Burial will be in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Medway.
Calling hours will be Sunday, March 22, in the Ginley Crowley Funeral Home (ginleyfuneralhomes.com), 3 Barber Street, Medway, from 3-7 p.m.
