In determining responsiveness and responsibility, the Medway Public Schools reserves the right to consider experience service, references and reputation in the construction and asbestos abatement field, particularly within the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, as well as the financial responsibility and specific qualifications set out in the bid documents of the prospective bidder. A coin flip conducted in the presence of interested bidders will be used to determine the successful bidder in the event of tie bids. Attention is called to the fact that not less than minimum prevailing wages are to be paid for all labor on the project, as shown in a schedule issued by the Commissioner of Labor and Industries in accordance with Section 26A - 27D inclusive, of Chapter 149 of the M.G.L., as amended, said schedule being made a part of the Contract Documents and included therein. Attention is also called to requirements relating to Workmen's Compensation and conditions of employment.
