O’NEAL, Sarah (McGonagle) age 96 of Franklin, formerly of Needham and Ballymagorry, Northern Ireland, March 22, 2026. Beloved wife of the late Raymond W. O’Neal. Loving mother of Evelyn A. Peters and her husband John of Franklin. Nana to Michael Peters of Woonsocket, RI and Evan T. Peters of Attleboro. Sister of Anna O’Neill of Holly Hill, Ireland. Sister of the late Patrick, Mary, Eileen, Kathleen, Seamus, Tessie, Billy, and Tony. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Sarah was a retired 40 year employee of Glover Memorial Hospital, Needham. Member of the Emblem Club of Brighton, the Brighton Lodge of Elks, the Village Club of Needham, and the Catholic Daughters of Needham.
Visiting hours will be held at the George F. Doherty & Sons Funeral Home 1305 Highland Ave, Needham on Wednesday, March 25 from 4-7pm. Her Funeral Mass will be held in St. Joseph’s Church, Needham on Thursday, March 26 at 10am. Relatives and friends kindly invited. Interment in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Needham.
