The Registry of Deeds is holding an Open House to celebrate the release of their new publication, “We Remember America’s 250th Anniversary” Notable Land Records. The open house will be held on Wednesday, June 17 from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the Registry of Deeds.
This book is Volume 5 in the Registry’s historical series and commemorates the 250th anniversary of the founding of the United States of America. It highlights notable individuals, places, and events connected to Norfolk County that played a role in the American Revolution and the birth of our nation. History needs to be told, celebrated, and remembered. This booklet is a tribute to those patriots whose courage and sacrifice helped secure the freedoms we enjoy today.
Guests can stroll the Registry’s Great Record Hall and view the displays highlighting the stories featured in the book. Each person attending this Registry of Deeds Open House will receive a complimentary copy of the Notable Land Records publication.
