Boston 25 news reported late yesterday regarding a shelter in place
order issued to some residents of Franklin and (mistakenly) some
residents of Wrentham as well.
According to the report a “mental health crisis” involving an
individual in the Spruce Pond Village condominium neighborhood triggered a
massive police response, even involving a MetroLEC armored vehicle
from Quincy. A Boston 25 videographer on scene reportedly heard four
sounds resembling gunshots.
Later, the individual having the mental health crisis was reportedly taken
to a hospital, according to Boston 25, and the shelter in place order
was lifted.
