Medway Pedophile Arraigned

According to a statement from the Medway Police, Luis Lema-Pomavilla, age 24, of 30 Wellington Street, Medway, was arraigned on multiple charges yesterday [Thursday) in Norfolk County Superior Court after a lengthy Grand Jury Investigation. 

He was initially arrested by members of the Medway Police Department on September 17, 2024. Mr. Lema-Pomavilla is charged with:

Rape of a Child (11 Counts)

Rape of a Child with Force (1 Count)

Statutory Rape (2 Counts)

Indecent Assault of a person over 14 (4 Counts)

Drugging a Person for Intercourse (1 Count)

Kidnapping (2 Counts)

A&B w/a Dangerous Weapon (1 Count)

Manufacturing of Child Pornography (5 Counts)

Possession of Child Pornography (3 Counts) 

Posing a Child in a State of Nudity (12 Counts)

Exhibiting a Child in Sexual Acts (12 Counts)

Enticing a Child (1 Count)

Extortion (1 Count)

Witness Intimidation (1 Count)

Assault and Battery (1 Count)

These charges involve three separate juvenile victims. 

Lema-Pomavilla is being held without bail as he has been since his initial arrest. Detective Sergeant Lauren Swarthout invested a significant amount of time and effort working closely with the Norfolk County District Attorney's Office and members of the Milford Police Department, who were instrumental in this successful investigation, ensuring justice for the victims.
