FRANKLIN: Edward P. Taddeo

Edward P. Taddeo, 78, of Uxbridge, MA, passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by his loving family, on the morning of Saturday, April 18, 2026.

He was born and raised in Franklin, MA, where he worked as a nursing supervisor at Medfield State and Wrentham State Hospital for over thirty years.

Edward enjoyed going to the casino, dining out, and watching westerns on TV while snuggling with his beloved dog, Foxy. He especially loved spending time with his grandchildren, Shawn and Serenity.

Edward was predeceased by his parents, Antoinette (Nanni) Taddeo and Frank Taddeo, as well as ten siblings: Rose, Lena, Olympia, Francis, Dorothy, Rocco, Christopher, Annette, Rico, and Alfio and a son in law David Jackson.

He is survived by his daughters, Becky Jackson of Uxbridge, MA and Karen Bean of Franklin, MA, Deana Wells, who he stepped into a father figure for at a time when it was needed most; his grandchildren, Shawn and Serenity Jackson, and DJ and Mia Bean; his siblings, Carol Dickson of Northbridge, MA and Ronald Taddeo of Franklin, MA; his longtime best friend of 66 years, John Yoder; along with many nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.

Edward was particularly grateful for the invaluable loving care and support provided by Becky and her children throughout his life and in his final days.

He will be remembered for his big heart, sense of humor, generosity, and outgoing personality.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his calling hours Wednesday April 22nd, in the Charles F. Oteri and Son Franklin Funeral Home 33 Cottage St. from 9-11AM.

A funeral service will follow at 11AM.

Burial will be at St. Mary's Cemetery, Franklin.

He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
