Margaret (Peggy) Stone Webb of Franklin passed away peacefully on April 21, 2026. Peggy was the beloved wife of Gerald (Jerry) Webb. Together they would have celebrated 66 years of marriage on April 30, 2026.
Peggy was born in Boston and raised in Dedham, the daughter of the late Gus and Margaret (McMasters) of Dedham and Peggy is survived by her brother, Lewis (Louise) Stone of Bridgewater.
Peggy was a 1958 graduate of Dedham High School.Peggy had previously worked at Wrentham Developmental as a switchboard operator where she shared many laughs and stories with her friend Ruthie on the switchboard and would later come home and share those stories with her family.
Together, Peggy and Jerry raised four children, Denise Harland, Cindy Powell (Richard), Nancy Maiorana and Jay Webb all of Franklin. Peggy loved nothing more than her husband and children as well as her grandchildren and great grandchildren who referred to her as More Nana. She loved all her family gatherings and summer cookouts with family and friends.Peggy lived a very simple life with her husband Jerry. They both enjoyed staying at home and waiting for one of their children to stop in and say hello on a daily basis.
Peggy is also survived by her grandchildren, Shawn, Michael, Jessie, Nick, Olivia and Emilee as well as her great grandchildren, Cory, Brooklynne, Maddox, Rosalee, Andrew, Maeve and Ruby. She was so proud of each one of them and looked forward to their visits.
Peggy was also the beloved grandmother to the late Cory Webb and the mother in-law to the late Scott Maiorana.
She missed them both dearly!
The family would like to thank the staff at Alliance at Maples for the compassion and the care that was given to Peggy during her short time there.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral service Thursday April 30th, in the Charles F. Oteri and Son Franklin Funeral Home 33 Cottage St. at 11AM.
Burial will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery, Franklin.
Calling hours are Wednesday April 29th, from 4-7PM at the funeral home.
